Burj Al Arab is the fourth tallest hotel in the world. Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel situated in Dubai. Burj Al Arab situated on an artificial island 280 m (920 ft) out from Jumeriah beach, and is linked to the mainland by a private curving bridge. The shape of the arrangement is designed to imitate the sail of a ship. Sometimes illustrated as “the world’s only seven-Star hotel”, its star ranking has been often argued.

The beachfront area where Burj Al Arab and Jumeriah Beach Hotel are located was previously called Chicago Beach. The hotel is located on an island of reclaimed land 280 meters offshore of the beach of the former Chicago Beach Hotel. The locale’s name had its origins in the Chicago Bridge & Iron Company which at one time welded giant floating oil storage tankers on the site.

The old name persisted after the old Hotel was demolished in 1997. Dubai Chicago Beach Hotel remained as the Public Project Name for the construction phase of Burj Al Arab Hotel until Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the new name.

Burj Al Arab was designed by British architect Tom Wright of WS Atkins PLC. The design and construction were managed by Canadian engineer Rick Gregory also of WS Atkins. Construction of the Island began in 1994. It was built to resemble the sail of a dhow, a type of Arabian vessel. Two “wings” spread in a V to form a vast “mast”, while the space between them is enclosed in a massive atrium.

Atlantis The Palm, Dubai

Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, is a hotel and resort that opened in 2008 in Dubai. The entire resort is aquatic themed, and is based on the Atlantis resort located in Nassau, Bahamas. The hotel has 1,539 rooms, including suites and super suites. Rooms boast views of The Palm or the Arabian Gulf, as well as elegant decor, queen or king-sized beds, and full or French balconies.

One of the most unique things about Atlantis The Palm is the variety of waterparks and marine encounters available at the hotel. Dubai Zoo

Dubai Zoo is the oldest zoo of its kind not only in the United Arab Emirates but also in the Arabian Peninsula. Dubai Zoo also occurs to be the first Arabian zoo to breed the rare Chimpanzee and Arabian wild cat.

It is an extraordinary place of attention and fun for travelers and the people of Dubai. Was formerly constructed in 1967 by a Dubai resident when H. H. Sheikh Rashid bin Maktoum, the late Ruler of Dubai, acceptable Otto J. Bulart to form a zoo on a two hectare plot in Jumeirah. It is still the oldest zoo in the Arabian Peninsula. Arabian Wolves is one of the unique attractions of Dubai Zoo.

Siberian Tigers, also called Amur Tigers, were formerly found in the forests of Korea, Manchuria, eastern Asia and northern China. Found mostly in cold and harsh land, Siberian Tigers can be transported up only in enormously low temperatures, but Dubai Zoo has formed ideal conditions for the protection of Siberian Tigers as well as Bengal Tigers. The zoo is shortly to undergo relocation and redevelopment allowing animals to live in areas designed to be as similar to their natural environment as possible.
